JR. ACCOUNTANT (Temporary 6-months)

About the Job

The Lifetime Value Co. is looking for a Jr. Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting Department for a set period of 6-months. 
The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and recording recurring journal entries. The ideal candidate has a strong command of IFRS and a solid understanding of income tax law, VAT, and electronic invoicing. This role requires a detail-oriented, methodical approach to accounting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial processes.

What You Will Get to Do

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Receive and process electronic invoices from suppliers and employees.
• Execute reimbursements and run payroll-related reports.
• Assist in the preparation of legal books and in converting financial statements from the functional currency to the local currency.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Support the Accounting Manager with closing procedures.
• Collaborate on various projects as required by the company.

What You Bring to the Table

• Recent Graduates or students in the final years of their Accounting degree.
• 2+ years of work experience in general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• High understanding of FRS and a solid understanding of income tax law, VAT, and electronic invoicing.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking capabilities.
